hi there, my name is melissa ann, but some people call me dumptruck molly. i am a twenty-six year old gemini. i have a bachelor's degree in social work (BSW), with a minor in women's studies. i graduated in july of 2004 from ball state university. i currently live in bloomington, indiana. i have lived here since july 2005. i am a case manager at a community mental health center here in bloomington. i work with adults battling mental illness. i love my job. i lived in muncie, indiana until april 2005. i used to work third shift at a community mental health center in anderson, indiana as a residential coach in a group home, working with the same population i do now. i make a zine called "she's so very..." i sing in a band called JERK ALERT! i am obesessed with buffy the vampire slayer, angel, gilmore girls, and queer as folk - they are the greatest shows in television history. i am also newly obsessed with alias, veronica mars and bones. i love any television show that has strong female characters that can be considered as good role models. i oppose capital punishment. i am pro-choice. i consider myself to be a riot grrl feminist. i can't decide what i want to do with my future, but have toyed with the idea of going to graduate school to get my MSW, with a concentration in social work administration and community organizing, in either athens, georgia or pittsburgh, pennsylvania. i may also be interested in doing research, but i have no idea what kind. i don't think this will be happening anytime soon, i'm in no rush to continue my education at the moment. i just want to be young and have fun for a few more years. athens, georgia is my favorite place in the world. i fancy the idea of traveling to greece once a year. i am IN LOVE with belle and sebastian and stuart murdoch. IN LOVE. you have no idea. i'm also seriously obsessed with idlewild, and traveled to portland, oregon in october '05 just to see them play. i have a kitty cat named sweetpea and she's the cutest thing alive. i am madly in love with my boyfriend. i call him sassafrassy.
